Melbourne is still one of the world’s most liveable cities – 14th Aug 2018…

Melbourne has been recognised as still one of the world’s most liveable cities.

The Economist Intelligence Unit’s prestigious annual Global Liveability Rating, which assesses living conditions in 140 cities worldwide, released its latest ratings on 14 August 2018.

Melbourne scored an overall rating of 98.4 (100=ideal), including full marks for education, healthcare and infrastructure.

Melbourne has registered improvements in liveability over the last six months, and remains Australia’s most liveable city, with Sydney ranking fifth and Adelaide tenth.

The ranking reinforces Melbourne and Victoria’s desirability as a migration destination for Significant Investors and other business and skilled migrants.
