The province of Saskatchewan held its latest SINP draw on December 17, 2020. The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) issued invitations to the candidates from the International skilled worker category of the SINP through the two subcategories such as Saskatchewan Express Entry and Occupation-in-demand.
A total of 576 invitations were issued to the candidates who had wealthy work experience in some selected occupations. Out of the total 576 invitations, 190 were sent to the candidates who applied under the stream of Saskatchewan PNP Express entry and the remaining 386 were issued to the candidates who submitted their application under the occupation in-demand subcategory of SINP.
In order to receive an invitation in the latest SINP draw, candidates from both the sub-categories are required to have submitted their expression of interest (EOI) profiles through the SINP pathway. No matter the sub-category, a candidate is required to have a minimum of 71 points in the SINP calculator in order to receive an invitation.
These points are evaluated on the basis of five selection factors and a score is given out of 100 to the candidates in the Saskatchewan Points assessment grid. Recently, it has been noticed that the province of Saskatchewan has started giving more points to the candidates who have dual language proficiency which means that they are proficient in both English and French.
You might have noticed that the current cut-off is 3 points less as compared to the previous SINP draw held on December 1, 2020. Moreover, the 190 candidates who received an invitation via the express entry stream of SINP, will be given additional 600 points towards their overall CRS scores that will ultimately make the entire process of receiving an invitation from the IRCC a candy walk.
Have a look at the table mentioned below and take a tour of the NOC codes that have been included in both subcategories.
