The British Columbia PNP has recently conducted its new draw on May 19, 2020 under which a total number of 158 invitations were issued to apply for British Columbia provincial nomination. In this draw, Candidates were invited from the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry BC (EEBC) immigration categories. The provincial scores requirements differ from various programs under BC PNP.
For Skills Immigration Category
Under Skills Immigration Visa streams, skilled worker are invited with at least 100 immigration points while candidates applying from International Graduate must had a score of 103. On the other side, candidates applying from Entry level and Semi-Skilled Category, they will be invited with a minimum of 81 immigration points score.
For Express Entry BC Category
Candidates invited from this stream must have a valid profile in the federal Express Entry system. In this Draw, there are two sub category invited form Express Entry system, namely skilled worker and International graduate. The score requirement for these categories is 110 for both sub categories of skilled worker and International Graduate.
Candidates who will be invited to apply for Provincial nomination of BC, they have opportunity to gain additional 600 CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score. This will effectively guarantee that they will receive an Invitation to apply (ITA) for Canada permanent residence.
