Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491)
NSW Government nominates candidates who meet NSW nomination requirements to apply for the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) to the Commonwealth Government.
There are two occupations lists for NSW nomination for this visa. The relevant occupation list depends on which or nomination criteria an applicant is applying under.
- NSW Stream 1 – Regional Skilled Occupation List
- NSW Stream 2 – Regional Skilled Occupation List
We have also based the NSW Regional Skilled Occupation lists on Commonwealth and state employment data, as well as evidence-supported feedback from NSW industry and regions. This list considers a broader range of occupations than those available to the NSW 190 Priority Skilled Occupation List.
