On June 16, 2020, British Columbia send 276 invitations to the BC PNP candidates to apply for permanent residence in 2020. Both the skilled workers and the international graduates were invited under the Express Entry BC (EEBC) and skilled immigration streams. As you all might be aware that EEBC is a category for the candidates who’ve a valid profile under the Federal’s government Express Entry System, that is the easiest and the fastest trackways for the skilled immigrants who want to live and work in Canada on a permanent basis.
On the other hand, the skilled immigration category is for the ones who are skilled and semi-skilled professionals and whose occupations are in high demand in the province of British Columbia.
The minimum scores were:
Category | Minimum Score | Number of Invitations |
Skilled Worker | 100 | 276 |
International Graduate | 100
Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled | 80
EEBC Skilled Worker | 100
EEBC International Graduate | 103 |
In order to receive an invitation under any of the categories, you must get yourself registered under both the categories such as the Federal Express Entry System and the BC’s skilled Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
