Nova Scotia PNP Invites Nurses Under Labor Market Priorities Stream On 22nd May 2020

 

The Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program (NS PNP) has recently conducted its new draw on May 22, 2020 for Nurses to apply for provincial nomination for Canada permanent residence. To apply under this draw, candidates must provide letter of reference from employers in order to demonstrate that they have three or more years of work experience as a registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse (NOC 3012).

There is also a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score Requirement of at least 8 CLB or higher in English or French in all language abilities. To apply, candidates must also hold a Bachelor Degree or completed a program of three or more years from a University, College, trade or technical school or from other institute.

While applying for the PNP nomination, eligible candidates must include copies of their language tests and proof of education to meet Bachelor Degree or higher along with their application. Under proof of education, ECA (Educational Credential Assessment) report must be included that is issued by an organization by IRCC if their educational credential was gained from outside Canada.

To consider a provincial nomination from NC PNP through Labor Market Priorities Stream, candidates first are required to have a valid profile under Express Entry system. Only Candidates who receive a Letter of Interest from Nova Scotia Office of immigration can apply for permanent residence. Candidates need to submit their application within 60 days of the date on which the letter of interest was issued.
