The Government of Canada has announced its latest Express Entry Draw for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) on 1st May, 2020. A total number of 3311 invitations were issued for this round of invitations to apply for Canada permanent residence. Candidates with 452 CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score were selected for this Express Entry Invitation round.
The tie-breaking rule for this Draw is October 10, 2019 at 19:15:28 UTC which means that candidates who have submitted their profile before this date and time with 452 CRS score or above were eligible for invitations. If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time when they have submitted their Express Entry profiles.
Canada Express Entry Eligible candidates will be entered into Express Entry pool and they will be ranked on the basis of CRS score that considers parameters like age, education, skilled employment experience, Official language ability and adaptability to Canada labor market. The higher the CRS score, the more will be priority for permanent residence visa.
As of now, a total of 34300 invitations were issued in 2020. Express Entry System is the primary source of inviting skilled workers and Canadian Experience class (CEC) is one of the major streams of Express Entry. The other two are federal skilled worker program (FSWP) and Federal skilled trade program (FSTP).
