The British Columbia PNP has conducted its a new round of invitations on 29th April 2020 with issuing a total number of 75 invitations to apply for provincial nomination. In this Invitation round, Candidates from both categories, namely, the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry BC (EEBC) are invited to apply and for Tech Pilot occupation only. The number of nominations depends on various immigration programs and on economic factors to invite skilled workers overseas.
Skills Immigration (SI) Category
Under the Skills Immigration stream, skilled workers and International Graduate will be invited with at least 85 immigration points. Candidates with higher Immigration points will be given more priority for BC PNP.
Express Entry BC (EEBC) Category
Under the Express Entry BC stream, both skilled workers and International graduates will be invited with a minimum points score of 85. These points will be evaluated on the basis of considering various factors such as applicant’s age, educational qualifications, work experience, official language proficiency, and additional factors. Those Candidates who get successful British Columbia PNP nomination, they can further apply to IRCC (Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada) for permanent residency.

Applicants who got BC PNP nomination will be awarded an additional 600 points that will ease them to become permanent residents of Canada.
