So, as far as this year is concerned, a total of 46,392 Invitations have been issued to the Candidates who’ve applied under the Express Entry System. The Canadian Government conducted another draw on June 24th, 2020 i.e. Wednesday, in which they give invitations to 392 candidates who had provincial nominations. The IRCC issued invitations to the candidates who were having the (Comprehensive Ranking System) CRS scores of 696 and above.
All the above candidates had received the provincial nomination certificate and were awarded with the additional 600 points. It means that without any state nomination, their CRS score is as low as 96. The CRS scores are dependent on various parameters such as human capital factors like work experience, age, language proficiency, education, spouse or common-partner related factors, skill transferability factors and some additional points. The CRS score card total is 1200.
These scores are calculated to ensure that whether the Express Entry Candidates will succeed in the labour market or not.
A tie break rule was applied under this Express Entry Draw. All the candidates who had submitted their profile prior to April 23rd, 2020 at 10:39:30 UTC and had a CRS score of at least 696, received an ITA (Invitation to Apply) under this Express Entry Round.
