Both in Manitoba and abroad, Skilled Workers and International student graduates were given invitations to apply for a provincial nomination. On 4th June, 2020, as per the 91st Manitoba EOI, a total of 124 immigration applicants were given the invitation to apply, in order to get a provincial nomination from Manitoba and to grab a Canada PR.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) issued the invitations or you can say LAA’s (Letters of advice to apply to the candidates who were under and eligible for the following streams such as:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba
No of LAA’s issued = 84
Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate = 523
- International Education Stream
No of LAA’s Issued = 19
- Skilled Workers Overseas
No of LAA’s issued = 21
Ranking score of the lowest-ranked candidate = 703
Out of the 124 LAA’s issued, 9 were issued to the candidates who provided a valid Express Entry id and a valid job verification code.
Manitoba’s EOI (Expression of Interest) System
If a candidate wants to apply for a provincial nomination from Manitoba via both the Skilled workers in Manitoba and skilled workers overseas need to register an EOI with the MPNP.
EOI is basically a profile that is ranked out of a score of 1000. Points are allocated on the basis of the candidate’s education, work experience, language proficiency, connections in Manitoba, and some other factors as well.
In the latest draw, the candidates who were invited under the skilled workers in Manitoba stream had a CRS score 523.
On the other hand, the candidates who were invited under the skilled workers from overseas had a CRS score of 703.
